AUGUST 2016: Paul Gill Joins SciChem as New Managing Director

We welcome Paul Gill, who joined SciChem in July this year as Managing Director.

Paul said: "I would firstly like to take this opportunity to thank John Turton and Brian Cartland for placing their trust in me and appointing me Managing Director of their company. I accepted this position for two main reasons. The first being the company's amazing history: the family values kept alive by John and Brian are an invaluable part of what makes this company what it is today. I will attempt over the coming years to stay true to those values and operate the company with the same levels of fairness, passion and integrity shown in the past.

The second thing I liked was John and Brian's recognition that the company needs to change. Their willingness to appoint someone to make those changes and their desire for that change to happen is a milestone in the company's history. The market place is fluid, in order to stay ahead and be successful we must be able to adapt to that market place.

My background is sales. I have spent my whole career growing profitable sales, from internal account management, to field sales to sales management and as a managing director.

I am excited about our future."
